Empowering Students in Morelos with Technology
At The UnifyEd Project, we believe access to technology is essential for a quality education. That’s why we’re excited to share that we’ve successfully sent six computers to Escuela Primaria Federal de Tiempo Completo Luis Donalda Colosi in Morelos, Mexico, providing over 150 students with the tools they need to learn, grow, and connect to new opportunities.
Finding the Right School
Our journey started with a search for a school that truly needed these resources. Through outreach and connections, we discovered Escuela Primaria Federal de Tiempo Completo Luis Donalda Colosi, a primary school in Morelos with limited access to technology. After speaking with the school’s administration, we confirmed that they lacked basic computers for student learning.
Coordinating the Donation
Once we identified the school, we worked directly with their teachers and administrators to understand their needs and arrange logistics. The UnifyEd team held virtual meetings to discuss how the computers would be used in their curriculum and what training might be necessary to help students and teachers get started.
Funding the Mission
None of this would have been possible without our amazing community. Through generous donations and fundraising efforts, we raised enough money to purchase and ship the computers. Whether it was through individual donors, school fundraisers, or community outreach, every contribution helped bring this project to life.
The Impact
Now, students at Escuela Primaria Federal de Tiempo Completo Luis Donalda Colosi have access to tools that will help them develop digital literacy, complete assignments, and expand their learning beyond the classroom. The teachers have also expressed their gratitude, as they can now integrate more interactive and engaging lessons into their curriculum.
This is just the beginning. We’re committed to expanding access to technology in under-resourced schools across Latin America. If you’d like to be part of our next initiative, consider donating or getting involved with The UnifyEd Project.
